Baptism
What is Baptism?
Baptism is a public statement of a believer’s faith in Christ and serves as a testimony of their commitment to serving God.
When we enter the waters of baptism, we proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ. The reality that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose from the dead. When we become baptized we are identifying ourselves with Jesus.
"when you were buried with him in baptism, you were also raised with him through faith in the power of God, who raised him from the dead." Colossians 2:12
